Here we Go!

So, I’m going to start making PF again. Sadly, I have to start from scratch because the old PF was on an old file, which is on my old computer, which was thrown out. I will start again on this new computer!!! So be prepared!

Penguin Frost OFFICIALLY Back! & Billybob is Finished with CP?

Yes!

 

After many inactive hours, we are FINALLY coming back. At least for a while!  Although we are back, I cannot still promise a FULL activity, but I can promise I will post a lot more often, as I just finished my football season (yes, we were undefeated!) But, now I have some time to work on Penguin Frost!

I no longer play Club Penguin (I’m pretty sure I lost my membership anyways), and I’m going to e-mail Disney to close my account (maybe).

 

Anyways, you can expect a return from Sportace. But, I’m not sure about Jackpaulsen and Blueicedude. We all have grown out CP and PF, but I decided from the huge fan base even after we got inactive (pretty much closed), I decided to at least give it one more try. So you’ve heard it, WE. ARE. BACK!

 

In other news, even though I don’t play Club Penguin anymore, I saw a post by Billybob, saying he was leaving. Personally, he was one of my favorite mods (tied up with Rocketsnail and Screenhog). Although I don’t play anymore, I will miss him knowing that he was one of the last original staff members.

ORIGINAL STAFF MEMBERS:

Screenhog – Audio, Sounds, Items (QUIT & NOW WORKS FOR ROCKETSNAIL GAMES)

Billybob – One of the Co-Founders (RESIGNING WILL BE OFFICIALLY RESIGNED BY FEBRUARY 2013)

Gizmo – One of the Co-Founders (QUIT)

Happy77 – First actual moderator. (ACTIVE)

 

Now since Happy77 is the only original staff member left, will Club penguin still be the same?

I guess we will find out later!

Welcome Back!

Welcome back, to the site.

Wow, this feels so good to post. Well, I’m reopening this hopefully August 1st! (8/1/12)

Now, before asking any questions, I am going to answer questions most of you will ask:

Q: What happened to coming back July 2nd?!!

A: A couple things. I have been playing other games (Minecraft, ect), my social life (which is pretty important), and recently, the email that created this site, was deleted and I had to gain my account back and everything, (good thing nothing harmful happened to this site!)

Q: Will PF still run?

A: No. Just kidding! Yes, hopefully. It’s not my main priority, but I can say, I will work on it.

Q: Who else is working on PF?

A: Right now, just me. Other mods aren’t known yet that I got the web back. So, I will have to inform them.

Out of all, there is a little problem.

Due to Clubpenguin growing viewers millions by the month, they are advancing their files and codes higher than anyone can imagine.

So, what I’m basically saying is, too create PF, we will have to feed off of old CP files (and we will edit them so that they don’t resemble CP rooms at all).

 

But, know one thing; I pretty much quit Clubpenguin.

Why?

Don’t get me wrong, Disney is a great company and all, but, just the features they are adding seem to childish for me, or they seem normal, but I am too old for it. I might come back. And I do visit once in awhile. So you can still meet me.

DON’T ask for my account! Because you won’t get it!

Prototype 1.0 Connection Test *DETAILS*

So, I’m hopefully going to blast this summer off with our first prototype. The prototype was supposed to release in August last summer, it was fully finished, but then, my hard-drive broke. Then we had to decide how we would make it (took about 1 month), then had to create it (2 months) we were then going to test it. We had a couple of server problems and router problems. Now we know how to fix it up and more experienced in it.

We are going to be releasing it this summer, this July. That is our major accomplishment to do. What I really want to add is: Waddling — Waddling is the main source of walking for penguins, correct? We need to make Penguin Frost advanced, yet fun. If we just have penguin pictures sliding around — that would not be as fun as waddling! Now, back in February-March I released the first, ‘Penguin Frost Waddle Test 1.0’. That proves our script is fully-functional to work in the game.

The problem is– we need to make sure it works in server-side. I am working hard on waddling and will try to add it in Prototype 1.0.

Remember, I am on vacation until July 2nd. But, don’t worry! Because I do have internet! If I didn’t, I couldn’t be typing this right now! And I am working on the game, so don’t worry about that either.

A NOTE TO ALL MODERATORS DURING AUGUST 2011:

Please know, this summer, it may be different. We restarted the team once again, with the moderators currently: Sportace, Blueicedude, Jackpaulsen, Bman, and OreoFrosty. Do NOT ask to be a moderator, staff worker, or administrator, it will NOT happen. We are going to be more precise on picking our mature, proper grammar usage, pure awesome (everyone is) moderators. I have changed the moderator page password, and will be updating it to summer 2012.

So if you are picked as a moderator, I will tell you the moderator password, Thanks.

Update on the Game

So, we have OreoFrosty, Jackpaulsen, and Blueicedude working again! And of course, I am too. We are just putting everything up-to-date on the game. Also, expect 1 week of inactiveness due to vacation were there is no wi-fi.

We are moving chats because Darkangel keeps swearing on ipenguinfrost. And I’m not on the chat while he is swearing, sadly.

Here We Go!

Well, after this post, is all PF-related. Well, summer for me is 2 days away. I’m very excited to work on this again. Infact, I’m on the computer I used last year to make the game! So, I was just working on it. Now, this summer my goals:

WADDLING! ( Expect 4-5 more Waddle Tests)

PROTOTYPES 1.0, 2.0, and possibly 3.0 ( if we get to Prototype 5.0 we will then start alphas)

DATABASE (We need to add this to make accounts!)

AND FINALLY, FAN BASE (We had an AWESOME fan-base last year. Of course, it did die down during the school year, now, lets get it back up!)

Those are my goals for this summer. Of course, I can’t do them alone. Jackpaulsen is back working with me. Blueicedude is, too. Bmans working on something top-secret. Now, everyone we hired during the summer quit or was re-positioned.

I’m starting a new paragraph to say this because: WE ARE PICKING MODERATORS MORE CAREFULLY NOW! We are not AT ALL picking people who don’t follow these rules:

1) Good grammar. Saying this to me, “sportace can i have mod plz i wana make pf with u.” Will NOT get you ANYWHERE!

2) Have a good talent that will help us (ex. Graphic designing, programming, ect.)

3) Don’t have rude behavior to other penguins. (The whole point of being a moderator is to help other people and make the game, if you don’t have a good behavior, you will not be a mod)

4) You are under Sportace’s, Jackpaulsen’s, Blueicedude’s, and Bman’s rule. If you do not listen to any of them, you will be fired.

5) Know the Penguin Frost official rules (making a page soon).

Now, those are the rules. If you want to be a mod, follow em’.

 

Well guys, it’s great to start posting more actively, but, there is something. From June 10th to July 2nd, I will be gone on a trip out of my country (U.S.A). Now, your probably all sad and all but, theres a good part! Theres wi-fi, and I’m bringing my computer, so I can work on the game! So, you might not see a change while I’m out of the country. Do not ask me where I’m going, thats a personal question.

 

I’M PUTTING THIS AS CAPITAL LETTERS BECAUSE THIS IS GOING TO BE THE LAST IM POSTING, ‘ WE ARE BACK TO PF’ POSTS. WE WILL NOW CONTINUE PF IN POSTING UPDATES, TESTS, PROTOTYPES, ECT.
